April articled with Dunphy Best Blocksom and joined the firm as an associate in 2008. Her areas of practice include Corporate, Commercial, Wills & Estates, Real Estate and Civil Litigation.

April received her law degree from the University of Alberta in 2007 and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History from the University of Alberta in 2004.

While attending the University of Alberta, April was actively involved in the Annual Law Show, a production put on by law students to raise awareness and money for local charities, and served as Dance Director during her final year of law school. April also served as President of the History and Classics Undergraduate Association during the final year of her Bachelor of Arts.

An avid traveler, April has traveled across Canada and the United States as well as many European countries. She also enjoys dance, hiking, fishing and camping.
